Gerre Brenneman Bio – Gerre Brenneman became the Executive Director of Evangel Home 30 years ago. It was a leap of faith on her part because she had no intention of going into ministry, was working at Reedley College for the president, and was more focused on writing speeches than guiding souls. But then God made it very clear where she was to go and she went. As much as she has helped to change the lives of homeless women and children, she believes that God put her at Evangel Home to work on her as well. Her faith has been shaped in the trenches and her direction has been changed forever.
Rev. Roger Minassian Mini Bio – After four years of naval service, four years in the aerospace industry, and 22 years of parish ministry, Rev. Roger Minassian foundedHope Now For Youth, an organization that has lifted over 2, 300 gang young men from the streets through caring relationships, jobs and Jesus. In 2003 he authored Gangs to Jobs, a book that has inspired others, as well as the feature film, Streets of Hope. Upon retiring from Hope Now in 2007, Roger and his wife, Marilyn, trained to become Marriage Mentors and Educators. In 2012, Roger retired as Adjunct Faculty in Relationships Education from Fresno Pacific University. Currently, Rev. Minassian mentors young Christian leaders, conducts Marriage Mentoring with his wife, teaches Anger Management at Hope Now, and offers a Stress Disorder Relief Ministry he developed that has reduced the symptoms of many autoimmune disorders.
