CBMC Fresno Impacting Business Leaders

See what business leaders from all over the valley are saying.

October 19, 2019

I became affiliated with CBMC and Tom Sommers through a wonderful friend, Amanda Monetlongo, back in November of 2016. CBMC is truly a one of a kind organization here in Fresno. From my initial meeting with Tom, I’ve had the privilege of being connected with other men of all age groups, many of whom have become wonderful friends. But the most important aspect of this ministry is the fact that it’s played a key role in the growth of my relationship with Christ. Tom has mentored countless men and takes the time to listen to each person individually in order to help them and connect them wherever he can. Through CBMC we’ve formed a Bible study group of eight young men that’s opened up opportunities for each of us to share our lives and build up one another. We talk about business, ministry, our personal lives and anything else that’s going on. CMBC is truly a wonderful ministry.

I have been involved with CBMC going back many years. My first exposure met a spiritual and emotional need in my life that was unrealized elsewhere. As I have grown in my walk with God, and now in my "retirement years" I find fulfillment as a staff member doing Pastoral Care and serving as an Elder for my church, CBMC adds the dimension of identification with believers within the business community and provides opportunities of service to a broader city wide base
